He is an adult gentleman who appreciates a slower environment and loves head scratches. He gets a bit overwhelmed with too much handling and likes attention at his own speed. He will be available for adoption through the Stafford County Animal Shelter when he is feeling better.

2022 Fosters
Winston Jr.
Our first official foster as Winston's Whiskers! This little guy was found in a wood pile by one of Dr. Laura's clients. Knowing that they were set up for dogs, the clients reached out for help, and Dr. Laura was happy to take in this kitty! He was very scared at first, but warmed up to people quickly after realizing he would get good food and was in a safe place. He turned into a real sweetie and was quickly adopted into a great home.

Bumpass
This poor little guy had an injury to his tail and the tail had to be amputated, but he doesn't seem to mind life without it! His tail also got pulled when it was injured, which injured his nerves that help him go potty. At first he needed help to pee because his muscles got too tight, then he would leak urine because the muscles got too loose. Now he is getting back on track to using the potty like a normal kitty and has been happily adopted into his forever home.

Cyclops (Sister of the seer)
This little love bug was born with only one eye, but that didn't stop her from wanting all the snuggles! She didn't need foster care for too long - just enough to get her fleas treated, have a good long nap, and eat a whole bunch! Then she went back to the shelter to get adopted.
The Seer (sister to cyclops)
This little sweetie was born with no eyes, but that didn't hold her back! She needed some more intensive care than her sister, she was severely anemic from fleas and didn't want to eat on her own! We had to place a feeding tube to keep getting nutrition into her and gave her all the support we could. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with panleukopenia, a very deadly virus similar to parvo in dogs, and she passed away despite our best efforts.
The Cheese boys - cheddar and colby jack
These two were surrendered by a good samaritan after they were unable to continue living in the rental they were in and they needed a new home. They were perfect gentlemen as we got their vaccines updated, neutered them, placed microchips, and transferred them to a shelter all ready for adoption!
The bottle babies - Hambone, gravy, mashed potato and cranberry
These cuties came to us at 3 weeks old as bottle babies. They have been a messy bunch who are very enthusiastic about diving into their food... literally. They went back to the shelter to be adopted, just in time to join a new family and help them eat their Thanksgiving Feast!
Anna
Anna had some trouble with the nerves going to her tail that made her want to chew her tail too much. She had done so much damage to her tail that it had to be amputated. She now has a little stumpy tail and is doing great! Now that her tail problems are resolved, she can focus on her true calling - making biscuits! She is such a sweet girl, we are sure she will go to a great home soon.
